English Premier League clubs have made a significant impact on the Italian Serie A transfer market this summer, investing a substantial €180 million in players. This figure, reported by Italian sports newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, represents only the fixed transfer fees and excludes any potential add-ons.

The most notable transfer saw Tijjani Reijnders move from AC Milan to Manchester City for €55 million. Following him, Dan Ndoye joined Nottingham Forest for €40 million from Bologna, and Enzo Le Fée completed a €23.5 million transfer from Roma to Sunderland. Other key acquisitions include Jaka Bijol`s move from Udinese to Leeds United, and Michael Kayode`s permanent transfer to Brentford from Fiorentina, which brought in €17.5 million for the Italian club.

Spain`s La Liga clubs have invested €43 million in Serie A players, while Portuguese Liga Portugal teams have collectively paid €37.3 million for Italian league transfers.
