PSG President Nasser Al-Khelaïfi has formally thanked the Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) for their exemplary management of midfielder Fabian Ruiz during the recent international break. According to reports from Cope, Ruiz, a Spanish international, was excused from playing for La Roja this month. Al-Khelaïfi specifically praised the “excellent care and attention provided to our player, Fabian Ruiz.”
The Parisian club`s president further emphasized their deep appreciation for the “professionalism, medical expertise, and support” shown by the RFEF in allowing Ruiz to return to the club during the FIFA international window.
The public release of Al-Khelaïfi`s letter is widely interpreted as an indirect criticism of the French Football Federation (FFF). This comes after PSG previously accused the FFF of mishandling their players, particularly Ousmane Dembélé. Dembélé, a key player, recently suffered a significant hamstring injury while on international duty, despite PSG reportedly asking France to closely monitor his playing time.
