Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Renato Sanches is reportedly on the verge of a loan move to Turkish club Trabzonspor. The 28-year-old Portuguese international, who spent last season on loan at Benfica where he made 21 appearances across all competitions, has not been integrated into Luis Enrique`s squad at PSG.
Following his return to Paris, Sanches was placed in the club’s ‘loft’ – a group of unwanted players expected to depart before the end of the transfer window. While two offers were on the table for the former Bayern Munich midfielder, including one from Greek side Panathinaikos, the balance has now tipped in favour of Turkish Süper Lig club Trabzonspor, who are expected to secure his signature.
Sanches, whose contract at PSG runs until 2027, joined the Ligue 1 champions from Lille in 2022. However, he has consistently struggled to establish himself at the Parc des Princes since his arrival.
