According to reports, Paris Saint-Germain is set to initiate discussions with Bradley Barcola, aged 22, regarding a new contract in the upcoming weeks. The young French international has reportedly attracted attention from several prominent clubs, including Bayern Munich, Arsenal, and Chelsea.
PSG is keen on retaining the former Lyon forward. Securing a new deal for Barcola has been identified by the club`s management as a key priority for the summer transfer window, in addition to strengthening Luis Enrique`s squad with new signings. Les Parisiens have underscored their intent by turning down multiple approaches for the Frenchman`s services, demonstrating their strong desire to keep him at the Parc des Princes.
Previously, Barcola was said to have harboured reservations about signing a new agreement with the capital club. The 22-year-old reportedly questioned certain recruitment decisions made by the club and has seen his position as a regular starter face increased competition following the arrivals of Khvicha Kvaratskhelia and Desiré Doué.
