Manchester United has identified a key player from Real Madrid’s midfield as a primary transfer target for the upcoming summer window. The player in question is Aurélien Tchouaméni, according to reports from The Telegraph.
The French international has enjoyed a largely successful individual season so far. Following initial criticism from the Real Madrid fanbase, the former AS Monaco standout has made a significant comeback with his performances.
Tchouaméni has been a consistent presence in the heart of Real Madrid’s midfield under managers Xabi Alonso and Álvaro Arbeloa. His dynamic and impactful displays have not gone unnoticed in England.
Manchester United are reportedly very interested in Tchouaméni’s contributions. As stated in a report by The Telegraph, “Real Madrid’s Aurelien Tchouaméni features prominently on Manchester United’s shortlist of candidates to replace Casemiro as they seek a new top-class No 6 this summer.”
However, Real Madrid is understood to have little intention of selling Tchouaméni in the coming months.
