French clubs RC Lens and Stade Rennais are reportedly vying for the signature of 23-year-old FC Midtjylland midfielder Oliver Sørensen.
Sørensen, a Danish youth international, had an impressive last season for his club, featuring in 41 matches, scoring 10 goals, and providing five assists. This included a goal and an assist during Midtjylland`s UEFA Champions League qualification bid, which ultimately proved unsuccessful.
He has continued his strong form into the current season, having already played in four games. Notably, he completed the full 90 minutes in both legs of Midtjylland`s UEFA Europa League qualifier against Scottish side FC Hibernian, helping his team advance with a 3-2 aggregate victory.
His consistent performances have attracted significant interest from both Lens and Rennes. Both clubs are reportedly preparing bids in the range of €6-8 million, a figure that sources suggest should be sufficient to persuade the Danish club to sell their highly-rated academy graduate.
