Stade Rennais is reportedly set to lose two players to Turkish club Goztepe, with forward Bertug Yildirim (23) leading the potential departures.
Yildirim spent the previous season on loan with La Liga`s Getafe, where he made 27 appearances across all competitions. However, his attacking contributions were modest, registering three goals and one assist before returning to Rennes. With the recent acquisitions of Breel Embolo and Esteban Lepaul, his opportunities for first-team action at the French club appear restricted. Despite being under contract until 2028, Yildirim is now poised for a permanent transfer to Goztepe, who are currently placed third in the Turkish league.
Goalkeeper Dogan Alemdar (22) is also expected to follow Yildirim to Goztepe. Alemdar serves as the second-choice goalkeeper at Rennes, behind Brice Samba. Like his fellow countryman, he is anticipated to complete a permanent move to the ambitious Turkish outfit.
