According to reports emerging from Belgium, during a recent meeting with directors from Club Brugge, Inter Milan made an attempt to sign Ardon Jashari, a midfielder who is also a primary target for city rivals AC Milan. The proposed deal reportedly involved offering young Inter player Aleksandar Stankovic along with a significant cash sum of €30 million. Discussions about potentially acquiring defender Joel Ordonez were also mentioned.
It has been confirmed that two senior officials from the Belgian club were present at the Inter headquarters in Milan and remained tight-lipped when questioned by reporters afterwards. The initial confirmed purpose of the meeting was to discuss the future of Inter`s youth team midfielder Stankovic, whom Inter is reportedly willing to sell, provided they retain a buy-back option.
Milan and Inter Battle for Jashari

However, Belgian transfer pundit Sacha Tavolieri claims that during the same encounter, Inter sought to divert a key transfer target away from Milan. This was reportedly attempted by offering Stankovic plus €30 million in cash to secure Jashari`s transfer.

Despite the offer, the bid for Jashari was reportedly unsuccessful. This is attributed partly to Club Brugge`s reluctance to sell the player at all, and crucially, because Jashari himself is said to have been a Milan supporter since childhood and is only interested in joining the Rossoneri.
Tavolieri also suggests that Inter proposed an alternative deal involving Stankovic, this time combined with €22 million, for Club Brugge`s Ecuadorian international defender, Joel Ordonez.
