Roma have reportedly reached an agreement on personal terms with RC Lens midfielder Neil El Aynaoui. However, the Italian club still needs to successfully negotiate a transfer fee with Lens for the player.
In recent days, there had been suggestions that El Aynaoui was among the players Roma were considering, with Richard Rios of Palmeiras also mentioned as a potential target.
El Aynaoui Keen on Roma Move
Recent reports from France indicate that the player has given his consent to join the Giallorossi, having agreed on personal terms with the club.
He is reportedly excited about the prospect of joining Roma`s project under coach Daniele De Rossi. Nevertheless, reaching a final deal remains a significant challenge.
The main obstacle is RC Lens`s valuation of their promising midfielder. The French side is seeking €30 million for the player who recently turned 24 this month.
This price tag represents a substantial potential profit for Lens, considering they acquired him from AS Nancy for a mere €600,000 in the summer of 2023.
While born and raised in France, Neil El Aynaoui represents Morocco internationally.
Roma are not the sole Serie A club reportedly interested in El Aynaoui; Juventus and Lazio have also been linked with the midfielder.
