West Ham continues to be the primary suitor for Douglas Luiz, even though their offer has yet to convince Juventus, as reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport.
Juventus is looking to offload Douglas Luiz following his underwhelming first season at the Allianz Stadium.
West Ham Maintains Lead in Douglas Luiz Transfer Race

Earlier this week, Tuttosport indicated that Juventus, often referred to as the Old Lady, found West Ham`s proposed paid loan with an option to buy insufficient.
The Wednesday edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport details West Ham`s current offer: a €10 million loan for the remainder of the season, with a buy option priced between €25 million and €30 million, an offer they are pushing Juventus to accept.
The same publication also notes recent interest from Everton in the player.
Juventus` Valuation of Douglas Luiz

Last summer, Douglas Luiz`s transfer to Juventus from Aston Villa was officially valued at €50 million. However, the actual cash payment made by the Bianconeri was €28 million, factoring in the transfers of Enzo Barrenechea and Samuel Iling Junior to Villa Park.
Juventus currently values Douglas Luiz at €40 million. Nonetheless, the Bianconeri may have to reduce their asking price if more attractive bids do not materialize soon.
