AS Roma has reportedly made an updated offer for Palmeiras` highly-regarded 25-year-old central midfielder, Richard Rios, as competition for his signature intensifies.
Sources from SkySport indicate that Roma`s latest proposal for the Colombian talent is valued at approximately €30 million, including performance-based bonuses.
The Giallorossi are reportedly seeking a swift reply, as their offer moves closer to meeting Palmeiras` valuation for the ex-Flamengo and Guarani player.

Roma Hopes €30 Million Bid Secures Richard Rios Signing
While Roma is not the sole contender for the Colombian international, with clubs like Benfica and several Premier League teams also showing significant interest, Sky reports that formal bids from these other parties are yet to materialize. This could give the Roman club a crucial advantage in the pursuit.

It is understood that new head coach Gian Piero Gasperini is a strong admirer of the 25-year-old midfielder, and the club is keen to integrate him into their squad before the upcoming Serie A season.
