Recent reports from the UK indicate that Manchester City`s promising young talent, Claudio Echeverri, is not anticipated to join Gian Piero Gasperini’s Roma on a loan deal for the 2025-26 season. It appears more suitable opportunities have emerged for him in France and Spain.
Roma`s Pursuit of Echeverri Faces Obstacles
Earlier in the week, reputable sources Gianluca Di Marzio and Sky Sport Italia had suggested that the 18-year-old Echeverri, who made his Manchester City debut in the FA Cup final against Crystal Palace in May, was among the potential candidates to bolster Roma’s attacking lineup this summer.
This week, the Giallorossi have also been linked with other forwards, including Fabio Silva, who is owned by Wolves, and Marc Guiu from Chelsea.
