Sassuolo is currently facing difficulties in offloading attacking winger Armand Laurienté, as negotiations for his transfer have stalled with Fenerbahce, following the collapse of a potential move to Sunderland.
The player is no longer considered part of Sassuolo`s future plans, especially after their recent promotion to Serie A, and he himself is reportedly eager for a new challenge.
While a transfer fee of approximately €20 million had been initially agreed upon with Sunderland, the deal ultimately fell through because Laurienté could not reach an agreement on personal terms with the English club.
Laurienté`s Desired Departure from Sassuolo

According to reports from Calciomercato.com, Fenerbahce presented an offer totaling €15 million, including add-ons. However, Sassuolo is holding firm on receiving the same €20 million sum that Sunderland had initially accepted.
The Neroverdi know they must secure a substantial transfer fee because they are obligated to remit 20 percent of any profit from Laurienté`s sale to his former club, FC Lorient.
Laurienté was originally acquired by Sassuolo in the summer of 2022 for €10.10 million, with an additional €2 million in performance-related bonuses.
Other Serie A clubs, including Napoli and Bologna, have also been rumored to show interest in the player`s services.
