Sassuolo has officially confirmed the acquisition of attacking winger Alieu Fadera from Como. The deal is structured as a loan agreement with an option for a permanent transfer, and notably, Como retains a counter-option.
This transfer, which had been under negotiation for some time, was finalized earlier today.
Reports indicate that Sassuolo will pay a €1 million loan fee for the current season, with a subsequent option to purchase Fadera for an additional €10 million. The total potential cost for a permanent move is €11 million.
The official Sassuolo website statement confirms that Como will maintain a buy-back clause for the player, giving them the possibility to re-sign him in the future.
Fadera`s Impact with Como in Serie A

The 23-year-old winger had only joined Como last summer, moving from KRC Genk in a deal valued at €5 million plus potential add-ons.
Fadera is also an international player for Gambia, having earned 12 senior caps for his country.
Operating mainly as a left-sided attacking winger, Fadera contributed significantly in his inaugural season with Como, scoring one goal and providing four assists across 28 Serie A appearances. These appearances included 20 starts and 8 substitute appearances.
