In fact, Pakistan and New Zealand will land at Hyderabad Airport today for their warmup encounter at the Rajiv Gandhi Cricket Stadium behind closed doors due to security reasons, as there are two different religious festivals on the same day in Hyderabad.

Pakistan will go the best possible playing XI, which might be their team in the main round of the mega event. The probable playing 11 for team Pakistan in the warmup match against New Zealand will be:

Babar Azam (Capt), Shadab Khan (VC), Fakhar Zaman, Imam-Ul-Haq, Saud Shakeel/Agha Salman, Muhammad Rizwan (Wk), Iftikhar Ahmad, Usama Mir/Muhammad Nawaz, Shaheen Shah Afridi, Haris Rauf, Muhammad Waseem Jr/Hasan Ali

New Zealand looks fully prepared this time as they have an excellent bowling lineup, particularly the spin bowling department. Ish Sodhi, Rachin Ravindra, and Mitchell Santner are in prime form. Their recent performance against Bangladesh was exceptional. New Zealand won the series 2-0.

Pakistan, on the other hand, started the World Cup campaign with shattered confidence. They were expected to win the Asia Cup 2023, but they finished four. Naseem Shah’s injury is also a big concern for the Pakistan team.
