Футбольный клуб «Осер» официально подтвердил приобретение 23-летнего нападающего Секу Мара из «Страсбурга» по договору аренды на один сезон.
Игровое время Мара в «Страсбурге» в этом сезоне, вероятно, было бы значительно ограничено. Уверенные выступления Эмануэля Эмеги, ставшего незаменимым игроком и капитаном команды, а также многообещающее начало карьеры Хоакина Паничелли в клубе, означали бы мало возможностей для Мара.

AJ Auxerre has officially announced the acquisition of 23-year-old forward Sékou Mara from RC Strasbourg Alsace on a season-long loan agreement.
Mara`s playing time at Strasbourg would have likely been significantly restricted this season. The strong performances of Emanuel Emegha, who has become an indispensable player and now captains the team, along with Joaquín Panichelli`s promising start at the club, meant limited opportunities for Mara.
Auxerre had expressed interest in the former Southampton striker prior to the transfer window`s closure earlier this week. Although the French forward had also been linked with potential moves to Belgium and Switzerland, where their respective transfer windows are still open, Auxerre secured his services.
Nevertheless, following the departures of Theo Bair and Ado Onaiwu, Auxerre was in urgent need of reinforcing their attacking options, a need they have now addressed. Mara joins on a straightforward loan agreement from Strasbourg, notably without a buy option. This transfer was made possible by France`s `joker` rule, which permits clubs to complete one domestic signing outside the official transfer window.
