Grabara Shares First Update After Injury: "Life Changes Fast, I Never Wanted This..."
"I won't lie, this is not something I ever wanted to post, but life changes fast sometimes. Thank you so much for all the messages, support, and kind words."
This is how Juventus goalkeeper Kamil Grabara broke his silence on his Instagram account. He posted alongside a photo of himself lying on a hospital bed after undergoing surgery for his injured knee.
Neto to Replace Grabara
Kamil Grabara, who arrived on loan from Wolfsburg to serve as the backup to Guglielmo Vicario, replacing Mattia Perin who joined Palermo, had made his official debut for Juventus in their Europa League win against NEC. With only Pinsoglio available as a reserve, the Bianconeri management immediately began searching for a free agent replacement. The return of Neto is now close.
Juventus's Statement
"Kamil Grabara underwent surgery today to reconstruct the anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee. The surgery, performed at the Guardian Clinic in Konin by Dr. Andrzey Pyda in the presence of Juventus's team doctor, Dr. Marco Freschi, was perfectly successful. The player will begin his rehabilitation program in the coming days aimed at resuming competitive activity," read the statement released by Juventus on their official website.
