Sassuolo made a significant move in the transfer market by securing Ismael Koné from Olympique Marseille. This is a loan agreement worth €2.5 million, with an option to purchase for an additional €10 million. This option becomes an obligation if Sassuolo retains its Serie A status at the end of the current season.

Marseille is also anticipated to retain a percentage of any future sell-on fee for the Canadian international.

Another Canadian player on the move is Tajon Buchanan, who has departed Inter for a permanent transfer to Villarreal. This deal is reported to be worth approximately €9 million, along with a 20 percent share of any future sell-on fee.

Cremonese successfully completed a double acquisition: Lecce captain Federico Baschirotto joined for €3 million, while Alessio Zerbin arrived on loan from Napoli. Zerbin`s loan includes an obligation to buy for €2 million plus €1 million in add-ons, contingent on Cremonese maintaining their Serie A position.
