According to reports, the International Cricket Council (ICC) began their ODI World Cup social media campaign by releasing a picture of the trophy with none other than Shah Rukh Khan. It’s nearly here, King Khan is shown smiling and gazing lovingly at the ICC trophy in the photo.

Fans were unable to control their excitement as the picture quickly became popular online. More than a million people have watched the picture, and around 43,000 of them have loved it. Some believed that SRK’s use of qualifiers like “world’s biggest moviestar,” “Badshah,” “Pride of India,” and “Face of Indian cinema” to praise him was a marketing ploy for the upcoming movie Jawan.

“SRK left behind this legacy; the ICC recognises him as King Khan. Who better to unveil the World Cup trophy than the biggest face of India? a Twitter user asked. “The King is Always India’s Lucky Charm. So Rohit and company will undoubtedly win the World Cup title in this edition, ” said another.

One supporter expressed hope that India would win the trophy this time, saying, “I hope he will take another photo with the team in November.” Oh, my God. Love you, ICC,” a different supporter commented, expressing gratitude to the world organisation for posting a photo of King Khan holding the trophy.

The opening match of the ICC World Cup 2023 will pit England and New Zealand, the winners of the last tournament, against one another in Ahmedabad’s Narendra Modi Stadium on October 5.

At Chennai’s MA Chidambaram Stadium, popularly referred to as Chepauk Stadium, India will play their opening game on October 8. The team of Rohit Sharma will compete against Australia.

Shah Rukh Khan’s eagerly anticipated film Jawan will arrive in theatres on September 7 about a month beforehand. The movie’s first image, in which SRK would appear bald, has already drawn a lot of attention.
