SL vs AUS | ICC Men’s CWC23 | Lucknow | Match 14 | Fall of Wickets | AUS Batting

Target 210 | RRR 4.10

Two world champions – Australia & Sri Lanka – are meeting today at Lucknow in match No. 14 of ICC Men’s ODI CWC 2023. Earlier in the game, Sri Lankan wins the toss and choses to bat first. Unfortunately, Dasun Shanaka is ruled out of the reminder of ICC Men’s CWC23 so Kusal Mendis is leading the team.

The two Australian openers: Mitchell Marsh and David Warner, are opening the innings for AUS for chasing down 210. Whereas, Lahiru Kumara and Dilshan Madushanka get the ball in hand for the first power play of the 2nd innings to resume the 14th match of ICC MEN’s ODI CWC 2023.

Sri Lankan bowlers pull off a magical start as they remove David Warner and Steven Smith in the 4th over of the innings. Madushanka provides a dream start to Lankan skipper by providing double wicket maiden. Both Warner and Smith get LBW on 24 by Madushanka.

AUS lose their third when Mitchell Marsh tries to steal a double from deep square. Kuranaratne’s bullet-throw at the wicket-keeper’s end and Mendis does the rest to remove MM. AUS are 3 down at 80 after 14.3 and Marsh goes for 52 off 51 hitting 9 boundaries.

SL again get the door open as Madushanka strikes 3rd time. Labuschagne pulls it to the mid-wicket where Kuranaratne bags an easy one. AUS are 4 down at 158 at the end of 29.
