Solid Opening Stand Put Proteas in Driving Seat Against Aussies

The 10th match of ICC Men’s CWC23 is being played between South Africa and Australia at Lucknow. Both South African openers provide a solid platform for a big total again. The men in green already have posted the biggest total of ICC Men’s ODI Worldcup history in their first match against SL.

Quinton de Kock and Temba Bavuma open the innings for SA and both batters provide 100runs stand. They bring up teams hundred in 17.2 with the 5.72 RR. The 100-runs stand include nine 4s and two 6s.

30-year-old Quinton de Kock who has been playing his final CWC and centurion of the last game brings up his half century off 51 striking at 98. Likewise Temba Bavuma who got out early in the last game against SL finds some rhythm this time after couple of drop catches.
