A good partnership between Sadeera Samarawickrama and Charith Asalanka made things stable for Sri Lanka but two back-to-back wickets destroyed Sri Lankan momentum. The controversial dismissal of Mathews was against the spirit of the game.

Charith Asalanka was the key batter for Sri Lanka who scored 108 runs off 105 balls with the help of 6 fours and 5 sixes. His knock gave Sri Lanka a fighting total. Sri Lankan bowlers have to bowl well to defend it.

Bangladesh bowlers bowled well, but Tanzim Hasan Sakib was a bit expensive. But he got wickets too for his team. Let’s see whether Sri Lanka can defend it or Bangladesh will be up for Nagan Dance once again.
