Strasbourg President Marc Keller has voiced his strong support for head coach Liam Rosenior. This defense comes after Rosenior publicly criticized certain fan groups following the team`s narrow 1-0 victory over Le Havre last Sunday.
During a press conference held on Thursday, Keller unequivocally endorsed Rosenior`s stance. “What Liam Rosenior said was superb,” Keller stated. “Despite being English, he is completely integrated into our project.”
Keller further highlighted Rosenior`s unwavering commitment to the club. “He was approached by significant clubs, both domestically and internationally, yet he chose to remain and extended his contract. This unequivocally demonstrates the dedication of our personnel to Strasbourg.”
“My desire is for us to be united in pursuit of a single objective,” Keller emphasized. “A very small minority crossed the red line, but I am hopeful we can restore positive relationships. Supporters are free to express dissatisfaction if we`re struggling in 15th place or if Ema [Emegha] misses numerous opportunities, but this particular situation does not warrant such behavior.”
He concluded with a powerful message about the club`s paramount importance: “The club transcends me, them, and everyone else. If you are not prepared to support the club, it is better not to come. Let`s stand firmly behind our players, our coach, and our overall project.”
