Montenegrin striker Mirko Vučinić shared his thoughts in a recent interview, discussing his experiences in Serie A.
Vučinić spoke about his successful Scudetti triumphs with Juventus. He also revealed a transfer that was very close to happening: a move to Inter Milan.
“The luggage for Inter was ready, then…” he started, hinting at a deal that ultimately fell through. He then emphasized his belief about how forwards should be assessed: “An attacker is judged when it counts.”
Reflecting on his time at Lecce and his performances against Juventus, Vučinić commented on the coaching styles he encountered. He described current Napoli manager Luciano Spalletti as a “phenomenon.” He also made a somewhat pointed observation about Lecce’s former sporting director: “Corvino is nervous.”
