Forward Tino Kadewere, 29, has officially moved from French club FC Nantes to Greek side Aris Thessaloniki, as announced by both clubs. Kadewere initially joined Nantes on loan from Olympique Lyonnais, with the transfer being made permanent a year ago.
His tenure at Nantes was significantly impacted by injuries, limiting him to just four goals across 28 appearances. The versatile striker was set to enter the final year of his contract with the Ligue 1 club.
According to reports from L`Equipe, Nantes and the Zimbabwe international reached an agreement for a contract termination. The deal reportedly includes sell-on clauses. Kadewere has signed a three-year contract with Aris FC.
In a press release, FC Nantes expressed their well wishes: “FC Nantes wish Tino the best for the rest of his career and warmly thank him for everything he has contributed to the Club.”
