Tottenham Hotspur has reportedly joined the growing list of clubs eyeing Olympique de Marseille`s midfielder Adrien Rabiot (30), as per an RMC Sport report.
With the transfer deadline looming, Rabiot`s future remains uncertain. His season began with a significant dressing-room altercation involving Jonathan Rowe on the opening day of Ligue 1. Both players were subsequently put up for transfer; Rowe has since completed a permanent move to Bologna.
Rabiot`s departure has been encouraged following this highly publicised dispute. Nevertheless, manager Roberto De Zerbi offered a glimmer of hope on Sunday, stating, “I hope there are the conditions to repair things.” While reintegration for the French international isn`t off the table, Get French Football News understands it would necessitate an apology from Rabiot. Whether he is prepared to make this step is yet to be seen.
Meanwhile, Rabiot continues to draw considerable interest. AC Milan, Tottenham, and Aston Villa are all reportedly in discussions with the midfielder`s representatives. However, Marseille has not yet received direct contact from any of these interested clubs.
