Greek international left-back Kostas Tsimikas has traveled to Italy to finalize his transfer from Premier League club Liverpool to Serie A side AS Roma.
The 29-year-old is expected to join the Giallorossi on a loan deal. The specifics regarding a potential buy option or obligation clause are yet to be fully confirmed.

Tsimikas Arrives for Roma Transfer
Transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano shared an image on X (formerly Twitter) this afternoon, showing the Greek full-back with his agent, Paschalis Tountouris, aboard a private plane en route to Italy. Tsimikas is scheduled for medical examinations before officially completing his transfer and linking up with the Roma squad in the capital.
Tsimikas` departure comes as he no longer features in the plans of new Liverpool head coach Arne Slot, especially following the Reds` acquisition of Hungarian talent Milos Kerkez from Bournemouth, who impressed significantly last season. The former Olympiacos player joined Liverpool in 2020 and has since made 115 appearances across all competitions for the Merseyside club.
