Igor Tudor expressed unwavering confidence in Jonathan David`s abilities, provided an update on his midfield selection, and addressed Juventus`s limited preparation time for their Champions League match against Villarreal scheduled for Wednesday evening.
Juventus is set to challenge “the Yellow Submarine” at 20:00 BST on Wednesday. This upcoming fixture follows their thrilling 4-4 draw against Borussia Dortmund in their previous Champions League outing.
Tudor on David, Koopmeiners, and Juventus`s Preparation Time

Tudor has opted to start summer signing David in the attacking line-up, choosing him over other options such as Lois Openda and Dusan Vlahovic.
“He`s performing exceptionally well, he`s focused, and possesses a unique quality where he always seems to be involved with the ball. I am confident he will deliver a strong performance today,” Tudor told Sky Sport Italia before kick-off.
David will be supported by Kenan Yildiz, along with a midfield trio comprising Teun Koopmeiners, Weston McKennie, and Manuel Locatelli.
When asked which of these midfielders would play the most advanced role on Wednesday night, Tudor gave a clear and concise response: “Koopmeiners.”

Regarding Locatelli, Tudor added: “He`s in good form. He will wear the captain`s armband in this Champions League fixture against a formidable adversary.”
Addressing the limited time Juventus has had to prepare for the evening`s game, Tudor commented: “We`ve worked on everything possible, maximizing the potential of our one or two training sessions.”
