UEFA Women’s Champions League Schedule and Broadcast Information

Football & Cricket

The UEFA Women`s Champions League is back for another thrilling season, promising to be its most competitive installment to date. With a revamped format, exciting new talent, and numerous strong contenders, Europe`s premier club competition is set for a dynamic campaign.

Defending champions Arsenal are back, but they face stiff competition. Barcelona, winners of three of the last five titles, remain a formidable force. Eight-time champions OL Lyonnes have undergone a significant transformation, with Jonatan Giraldez taking the helm and an influx of new talent, including USWNT midfielder Lily Yohannes, joining the squad.

This season will showcase many of football`s elite players vying for the championship. Among them are Barcelona`s three-time Ballon d`Or recipient and Arsenal`s Mariona Caldentey, who finished as the runner-up for the prestigious individual award in 2025. A strong contingent of USWNT players will also feature: Lily Yohannes will play alongside Lindsey Heaps for both club and country, while Emily Fox was crucial to Arsenal`s victory last season. New to the Champions League, Alyssa Thompson joins Chelsea, alongside fellow USWNT stars Catarina Macario and Naomi Girma, as the Blues aim for their inaugural UWCL title.

The ultimate showdown will take place on May 24 at Ullevaal Stadion in Oslo. For the first time ever, every match of the tournament will be broadcast across CBS Sports platforms.

Where to Watch Every Match

Paramount+ is the primary destination for comprehensive Champions League coverage. Additionally, CBS Sports Network and CBS Sports Golazo Network will feature selected matches and supplementary programming. Daily broadcasts commence with `UEFA Women`s Champions League Today` on both Paramount+ and CBS Sports Golazo Network, preceding early games. An hour-long pre-match show will be available on Paramount+ and CBS Sports Network before later fixtures. Post-match analysis will be broadcast on Paramount+ and CBS Sports Network, with CBS Sports Golazo Network concluding the day`s events with a new `Scoreline` segment.

The new `UEFA Women`s Champions League Today` studio show on CBS Sports will be hosted by Hannah Cash. Expert analysis will be provided by Jen Beattie, Janelly Farias, Darian Jenkins, Kelley O`Hara, and Ali Riley. Chris Wittyngham will lead the play-by-play commentary, joined by Beattie and Jenkins. Anita Jones will offer pitchside reports, and Christina Unkel will serve as the rules analyst.

Introducing the New League Phase Format

This season marks the introduction of a new league phase to the Women`s Champions League, expanding the tournament from 16 to 18 teams. Each participating team will compete in six league phase matches. The top four teams will automatically advance to the quarterfinals. An additional eight teams (ranked 5th through 12th) will enter knockout phase playoffs, where teams ranked 5th-8th will face those ranked 9th-12th for the remaining quarterfinal berths. Following these playoffs, the competition will revert to the traditional knockout format, culminating in the final on May 24 at Ullevaal Stadion in Oslo, Norway.
