Parma has confirmed the permanent transfer of Romanian international Valentin Mihaila to Turkish club Rizespor for €2 million. This deal also includes a percentage of any future sale of the player. This agreement was reached despite significant interest from several Italian Serie A clubs, notably Cremonese and Lecce.
It had become evident for some time that the 25-year-old winger was no longer considered part of Parma’s core plans at the Stadio Tardini, making his departure anticipated.
Rizespor Secures Mihaila`s Signature

Multiple sources now report that Mihaila is en route to Turkey to complete his medical examinations, with the finalization of the transfer expected before the upcoming weekend. He has agreed to personal terms on a four-year contract with Rizespor, reportedly set to earn approximately €1.2 million per season.
A product of the Craiova youth academy, Mihaila originally joined Parma in 2020 in a €9.1 million move. His time at Parma also included a brief six-month loan spell with Atalanta in 2022.
