Goalkeeper Vanja Milinkovic-Savic has arrived in Rome to undertake his medical examination at the Villa Stuart clinic, a crucial step before his anticipated transfer from Torino to Napoli.
Following reports yesterday that a comprehensive agreement had been reached, the Serbian international goalkeeper is now poised to finalize his move to Antonio Conte`s team, pending the successful completion of today`s medical tests.

The transfer agreement is reportedly structured as an initial loan with a mandatory purchase clause of €21.5 million. This fee exceeds the player`s current release clause, but Napoli chose this deferred payment method as the most suitable approach for their summer transfer strategy.
Napoli Outmaneuvers Leeds for Milinkovic-Savic Signature
Napoli faced competition for the tall goalkeeper`s services, notably from newly promoted Premier League club Leeds United. Nevertheless, the appeal of Champions League football and joining the reigning Italian champions proved to be the decisive factor for the 28-year-old Spanish-born player.

Milinkovic-Savic`s acquisition further bolsters Napoli`s squad this summer. Under Antonio Conte, the club has already welcomed several notable additions, including Kevin De Bruyne, Lorenzo Lucca, Sam Beukema, and Noa Lang.
