TURIN, ITALY – SEPTEMBER 16: Lloyd Kelly of Juventus celebrates scoring his team’s fourth goal during the UEFA Champions League 2025/26 League Phase MD1 match between Juventus and Borussia Dortmund at Juventus Stadium on September 16, 2025 in Turin, Italy.

Kelly stated, “I want to be clear that efforts are definitely underway. I cannot deny that actions are being taken to combat and eradicate racism from football.”

“Nonetheless,” Kelly continued, “the trajectory is positive, as we are beginning to witness consequences for individuals perpetrating racist abuse and discrimination between supporters and athletes. Despite this, more work remains essential.”

The complete podcast episode with Kelly is scheduled for release on Juventus` official YouTube channel on Thursday, October 16th.
