Juventus forward Dusan Vlahovic`s brief `like` on an Instagram post by Rafael Leao following AC Milan`s 4-2 victory over Liverpool on Saturday swiftly ignited transfer speculation, despite his quick removal of the reaction.
Vlahovic`s Social Media Activity Noticed by Fans
According to Italian newspaper Tuttosport, the Juventus frontman later unliked the post, but not before eagle-eyed fans noticed. Milan secured their 4-2 win against Liverpool during a pre-season friendly match held in Hong Kong. The Serbian international had initially shown his approval of Leao`s celebratory social media update.
Although Vlahovic promptly retracted his `like` once fans became aware, the incident was enough to further fuel existing rumors of a potential transfer to AC Milan.
Dusan Vlahovic`s agent, Darko Ristic, is expected to hold discussions with Juventus officials in the coming days to address his client`s future at the club.
Vlahovic Previously Linked with Milan and Allegri Reunion
Reports from June indicated that new AC Milan head coach Massimiliano Allegri, who is reportedly keen on a reunion at San Siro, had already engaged in informal talks with his former striker.
Vlahovic is set to earn €12 million in the final year of his contract with Juventus. The Bianconeri are reportedly open to transfer offers for the ex-Fiorentina forward, as he appears to be outside of Igor Tudor`s future plans for the squad.
This incident isn`t the first time Vlahovic has caused a stir among Juventus supporters through his social media activity; earlier this month, he `liked` a Jude Bellingham post following Real Madrid`s elimination of Juventus from the Club World Cup.
