Warren Bondo Set for Cremonese Loan After Brief AC Milan Stint

Football & Cricket

Reports indicate that Warren Bondo is nearing a loan agreement to join Cremonese from AC Milan. Discussions, which had recently re-intensified, are now rapidly progressing towards a successful outcome.

A direct conversation between the midfielder and coach Davide Nicola was instrumental in persuading Bondo, who initially harbored reservations about the transfer.

AC Milan is anticipated to approve the dry loan, a deal that might include a modest fee for Cremonese. Bondo is expected to undergo medical examinations no later than Tuesday.

The French player, who will turn 22 next month, joined Milan in the January transfer window from Monza for an initial €10 million, with potential add-ons reaching €5 million.

Due to a combination of injuries and difficulties adapting, he managed only five appearances for the Rossoneri, accumulating just 164 minutes on the field.

The recent additions of Samuele Ricci, Luka Modric, and Ardon Jashari would further restrict his opportunities for game time at San Siro this season.
