With Dan Ndoye seemingly on his way to Nottingham Forest for a medical examination, Bologna is now urgently seeking a replacement player. Reports indicate that their attention has sharply refocused on Al-Nassr`s promising young talent, Wesley Gassova.
Multiple media outlets today confirmed that Nottingham Forest and Bologna have reached an agreement regarding Ndoye`s transfer. The deal is reportedly valued at a minimum of €40 million, with additional performance-based incentives and a 20 percent share of any future sell-on fee included.
The player is expected to undergo his medical assessment in England either on Tuesday or, at the latest, on Wednesday.
Bologna`s Renewed Interest in Wesley

Consequently, Bologna must now identify a suitable successor. The name most frequently cited by Sky Sport Italia`s transfer expert, Gianluca Di Marzio, is Wesley.
It`s crucial to clarify that this is not the same player recently signed by Roma from Flamengo. Instead, it refers to 20-year-old Wesley Gassova, currently with Saudi club Al-Nassr.
This adaptable Brazil Under-20 international made the move from Corinthians to the Saudi Pro League in August 2024, in a transfer valued at €18 million.
During his tenure at Al-Nassr, he registered one goal and three assists across 22 competitive appearances.
Although Bologna had previously expressed interest several weeks ago, Gassova has now reappeared on their radar, particularly with Ndoye`s departure becoming a certainty.
Sky Sport Italia also mentioned William Boving, a winger from Sturm Graz, as another potential candidate Bologna might consider.
