Will Young Brilliant 50 Under Pressure vs Afghanistan in the ICC World Cup 2023

Another New Zealand batter, Will Young has scored 50 runs under pressure. Afghanistan spinners exerted so much pressure initially. He absorbed the pressure and then started opening his arms. He completed his 50 off 57 with the help of 4 fours and 3 sixes. 

Young was missed by Rahmat Shah in the slips when he was on 1. That was the turning point of the match. In the start, he was a bit watchful. He went after the hero of the last match Muhammad Nabi. He was hit for 2 sixes by Young.

Earlier today, Afghanistan won the toss and elected to field first. The start was a good one for Afghanistan but they were sloppy in the field. They grossed two easy catches which badly dented their momentum. 

Azmatullah Omarzai who was expensive in the last match got two wickets in one over to bring his team back in the game. He bowled out Ravindra and Young in the same over. Rashid also got rid of the in-form batter Dryl Mitchell. 

New Zealand after 24 overs have scored 117 for the loss of 4 wickets. It will be a great contest between these two brilliant sides. Is it another upset is loading? Let’s wait and see!
