Yassine Khalifi Completes Permanent Transfer from Lille to Charleroi

Football & Cricket

Royal Charleroi Sporting Club has officially announced the permanent transfer of 19-year-old Yassine Khalifi from Lille OSC. The young Moroccan international midfielder has signed a contract keeping him with the Belgian side until 2027.

Khalifi originally joined Lille in 2023 from the Mohamed VI Football Academy, arriving with a strong reputation as a promising talent. However, he was unable to secure a place in the senior squad and departs without making a first-team appearance, having spent his time developing in the youth teams of “Les Dogues”.

The teenager had already made his professional debut in Morocco before moving to France, following a loan spell from his training club at Union de Touarga in 2023. He is now expected to build on that prior professional experience, as Charleroi has confirmed he will join their first-team pre-season training camp.
