Toulouse FC has officially confirmed the transfer of 25-year-old forward Zakaria Aboukhlal to Serie A club Torino on a permanent basis.
The Moroccan international, who netted 20 goals in 76 Ligue 1 appearances since his arrival in 2022, became available this summer due to his contract situation. With only one year remaining on his deal with the French side, Torino submitted an offer for the attacker. Aboukhlal had previously expressed a desire for a new challenge after spending three years with Le TéFéCé.
Following the rejection of an initial bid, negotiations rapidly progressed. A comprehensive agreement between Toulouse and Torino was successfully reached earlier this week. While the precise value of the transaction has not been publicly disclosed, L’Équipe estimates the transfer fee to be approximately €10 million.
Torino has announced that the Morocco national team player has signed a four-year contract, committing him to the Italian club until the summer of 2029.
