Adrien Rabiot`s tenure at Olympique de Marseille has reportedly concluded. Following a recent altercation with teammate Jonathan Rowe after a defeat to Stade Rennais on Friday, both players were immediately suspended and subsequently placed on the transfer list by the club.
While Rowe appears to be nearing a move to Serie A side Bologna, Rabiot`s future remains somewhat ambiguous. It has been widely confirmed by all parties involved that the 30-year-old French international will not play for Marseille again; however, he has yet to secure a new club. Marseille currently values Rabiot at €15 million, a price that has reportedly attracted interest from several prominent Italian clubs, including Juventus, AC Milan, and Inter Milan.
Despite past rumors linking Rabiot to AS Monaco last summer, particularly when he was a free agent after his contract with Juventus expired, Monaco`s CEO Thiago Scuro has definitively addressed and dismissed such speculation. When directly questioned about the possibility of signing the midfielder, Scuro stated unequivocally, “No. We have never discussed it.”
