Afghanistan Spin Department Will Decide Aghanistan Fate in the ICC World Cup 2023

Afghanistan Spin Department Will Decide Afghanistan’s Fate in the ICC World Cup 2023 as they are packed with world-class spinners Mujeeb Ur Rehman, Rashid Khan, Muhammad Nabi and Noor Ahmad. All of them are different from each other. On Indian spinning tracks, they will not let you off the hook. Afghanistan seems to be the most threatening team of the ICC World Cup 2023 due to their deadly spin bowling department.

The most important factor is that they can bat, too. Muhammad Nabi is one of the most dynamic all-rounders in world cricket. Rashid Khan is known for his hard-hitting ability, and Mujeeb-Ur-Rehman scored his fastest against Pakistan’s pace battery in the recent past. Noor Ahmad is the only spinner who can’t bat.

Mujeeb Ur Rehman is different from other spinners in the squad due to his ability to bowl with new ball as well as old ball. He has been bowling in the power play for years now. Rashid Khan is the World’s no. 5 ranked bowler and the World’s No. 1 ranked spinner who can move the ball both ways, even on fast pitches like Australia’s. Muhummad Orthodox off-spinner usually operates after the powerplay. Though he is not a mystery spinner, he knows his limitations.

Afghanistan can surprise any big team on the big stage to spoil their party. Pakistan and Afghanistan rivalry has also gained momentum over the last few years. Both teams show aggression whenever they face each other on the field. And who forgets last year’s Asif Ali and Fareed’s fight in the Asia Cup?

Afghanistan will give their 100% against their opposition, and their spinners will play the key role. These Indian spinning and low-bounce tracks will help them as well. They have a great chance to qualify for the semi-finals.

No one can ignore Afghanistan’s presence in the World Cup 2023, though they are facing a hard time before entering the ICC mega event. The sheer quality that they carry within their ranks can prove to be the undoing of any side in the World Cup.
