Babar Azam may not attend Pakistan’s special World Cup 2023 kit launch in Lahore. On Monday, August 28, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is expected to reveal the official uniform for the ICC World Cup 2023. 

Zaka Ashraf, the chairman of the PCB Management Committee, will be the special guest at an event in Lahore where the kit will be unveiled.

On its official social media channels, the PCB posted a teaser for the uniform on Sunday with the caption, “Gear up Pakistan cricket fans! Are you prepared for today’s big reveal?

From October 5 to November 19, 10 teams will compete for the coveted trophy at 10 different locations, with the tournament’s opening game and championship game taking place at Ahmedabad’s Narendra Modi Stadium.

The PCB is going above and beyond to make this event a grand occasion. The head of the Pakistan Cricket Board, Zaka Ashraf, will attend this event as the chief guest.

To promote this event, PCB posted a visual representation of the upcoming kit on social media. There are significant concerns about Babar Azam’s attendance at this event, according to reports in Pakistan.

The Pakistan Cricket Team, led by Babar Azam, has returned home after defeating Afghanistan in a three-match ODI series in Sri Lanka. Pakistan has now risen to the top of the ICC ODI rankings after a rout of the Afghan team.

The ICC World Cup, a major event, follows the conclusion of the Asia Cup. According to reports in Pakistan, Babar Azam and company will leave for Hyderabad on September 28 to start their preparation and take part in the World Cup Warm Up games, which start on September 29. On October 6, Pakistan will play the Netherlands to open their World Cup campaign.
