BCCI disagrees with CAB over ticket price announcement for the ICC World Cup 2023. The Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB), which announced the ticket rates for the ODI World Cup matches at Eden Gardens, apparently hasn’t pleased the BCCI. The official declaration was apparently made by the CAB without contacting the BCCI.

The forthcoming ICC World Cup 2023 will feature five games at Eden Gardens. On October 28, before the match between Pakistan and Bangladesh.

India and South Africa will square off in the third World Cup match at the legendary site. England, the defending world champion, will play Pakistan in the fourth match. The semifinal will be played in the fifth and final World Cup game at Eden Gardens.

The CAB disclosed the cost of the tickets for each game in its official release. The BCCI, however, has not been pleased with their news, according to The Telegraph. The former captain of India, Sourav Ganguly, visited Eden on Monday but chose not to comment. His older brother, Snehasish Ganguly, is the CAB president.
