Napoli is set to finalize the transfer details for Rasmus Hojlund on Thursday, following intensive discussions with Manchester United, who are now prepared to agree to an obligation-to-buy clause for the €45 million deal.
The Danish center-forward has been Napoli`s primary transfer target for over a week, chosen as a vital replacement after Romelu Lukaku`s injury was confirmed to be severe, necessitating a strong attacking reinforcement.
Hojlund`s Move to Napoli Expected Within 24 Hours

The negotiations are now at an advanced stage, with a resolution anticipated within 24 hours, making Thursday the crucial day for closing the deal. Today saw continuous talks, including numerous calls and dialogues between the clubs.
Initially, the proposed deal was a €45 million loan with an option to buy, which would convert into an obligation if Napoli qualified for the Champions League and Hojlund made a specific number of appearances throughout the season.

However, Napoli, also known as the Partenopei, are now ready to fully meet Manchester United`s demands by accepting a loan with an obligation to buy under easily achievable conditions, virtually guaranteeing the permanent acquisition of Hojlund.
