Dan Ndoye`s impending transfer to Nottingham Forest is set to make him one of Bologna`s most significant player sales in history, placing him among high-value departures like Riccardo Calafiori and Joshua Zirkzee, who also moved to Premier League clubs last summer.
Reports on Monday evening indicate that Nottingham Forest has reached an agreement with Bologna for the transfer of Swiss international Ndoye, with the fee expected to exceed €40 million.
While initial reports suggested a guaranteed €40 million plus €3 million in bonuses, Sky Sport Italia cites a higher figure of €42 million in fixed fees, with an additional €7 million possible in long-term add-ons.
Should Bologna secure the full €49 million reported by Sky, Ndoye would set a new club record for the most expensive player sale.

Even at the minimum €40 million, Ndoye`s transfer would rank among Bologna`s top three most valuable sales. This would position him behind Riccardo Calafiori, who moved to Arsenal for approximately €48 million (including bonuses), and Joshua Zirkzee, who transferred to Manchester United for €42.5 million last summer.

Sam Beukema, another player departing Bologna this summer, will become the club`s fourth most expensive sale once Ndoye`s transfer is finalized, having recently joined Napoli for €30 million.
Simone Verdi, who moved to Napoli in 2018, would then become Bologna`s fifth highest sale, having previously departed the Rossoblu for a reported €24.5 million.
