Eng vs Ban; Dawid Malan Brilliant Maiden World Cup 100 in the 7th Match of the Mega Event

Dawid Malan scored another 100 against Bangladesh in a crucial match of the World Cup. England needs to win this match because they have already lost the first match against New Zealand in the opener of the World Cup. For his 100 he faced 91 balls with an impressive strike rate. 12 fours and 2 sixes helped Malan to achieve his maiden World Cup 100 with a healthy strike rate. He is the oldest English player who scored 100 in the ODI World Cup. 

Early on Bangladesh won the toss and elected to field first. Bangladesh wanted to repeat the last match performance but they couldn’t. It was a great start for England. Both openers, Malan and Bairstow added 115 runs to provide the team with the start they were looking for. Bairstow got out after scoring his 50.

Malan Made 140 runs for 107 balls with a strike rate of over 130. He set the platform for the rest of the batter to blast the final powerplay to reach the 400 mark. It’s a great comeback for England after losing to New Zealand in the first match of the World Cup.

A good chance for England to up their run rate by beating Bangladesh by a huge margin. England is at the bottom of the points table. They will definitely look for a huge boost up.
