The major performer in the 1st powerplay in this practice match were Mustafiz from Bangladesh as he took 2 crucial wickets whilst from England it was none other than Jonny Bairstow who was the man of destruction. Another destructive batter came into the middle to prolong Bairstow’s show. But he bit the dust too and reached the pavillion when the team’s total was 73. Jos Buttler decided to play the captain’s knock and started dealing in boundaries.

England Sneaked 90 in this 1st powerplay comprising of 9-overs with RR of 10.0 for the loss of 3 wickets. Most importantly, England smashed 16 boundaries in the powerplay. Hasan Mahmud proved quite costly as he gave away 38 in his 1st 4-overs spell with Brook’s wickets.
