Tom Moody selects his Indian team for the 2023 World Cup

For the ICC World Cup 2023, former Australian cricketer Tom Moody selected his Indian team. He selected a fairly evenly matched team, but Suryakumar Yadav’s absence from the team caught many people’s attention.

Yuzvendra Chahal received a nod from Tom Moody as well in his India team for the ICC World Cup in 2023. The leg-spinner was not named to the team for the Asia Cup 2023, and many experts did not include him in their teams either.

Tom Moody chose Shubman Gill and captain Rohit Sharma for the opening pair. While the middle-order batsmen in the squad he chose for the ICC World Cup 2023 are Virat Kohli and Shreyas Iyer. The team’s two keepers are Ishan Kishan and KL Rahul.

In the Indian team for the ICC World Cup 2023, Tom Moody chose all-rounders Ravindra Jadeja, Hardik Pandya, Axar Patel, Yuzvendra Chahal and Kuldeep Yadav.

He selected Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammad Shami, Mohammed Siraj, and Shardul Thakur for pace bowling. They were selected for the Indian team for the Asia Cup in 2023 as well, and it is anticipated that they will be key players for the team in the World Cup as well.
