IND vs NZ Ground Dimensions, Pitch Report and Entry Gates

IND vs NZ Ground Dimensions, Pitch Report and Entry Gates are discussed below in detail. India, who are atop the standings, have been confirmed to play New Zealand in the first-ever ICC Men’s ODI World Cup 2023 semi-final on Wednesday, November 15, at Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium.  New Zealand has already locked up the fourth spot in the points standings.

IND vs NZ Entry Gates

There are six gates and 48 turnstiles at the stadium during game days. The two foot-over bridges sustained damage and became inoperable for spectators as a result of the dispute between the MCA and the Western Railway administration. In an effort to ease congestion, the MCA built an additional gate (5A) from the University Pavilion entrance. The MCA has ensured that additional signage would be erected in south Mumbai.

Wheelchair-accessible spectators will also have access to at least one elevator, provided there aren’t two stands. There will also be a ramp constructed for people with physical disabilities. Because the stadium is close to the well-known Queen’s Necklace, it offers good access to public transportation.

IND vs NZ Boundary Length

The boundaries of Mumbai, India’s Wankhede Stadium measure 66 by 70 meters. The straighter lines are roughly 68–72 meters, whereas the square bounds are 64–68 meters.

One of India’s minor cricket venues is the stadium. One of the most prominent cricket venues in the world, it can hold 33,108 spectators.

IND vs NZ Seating Capacity

Thirty thousand people can fit within the stadium. However, only roughly 30,000 spectators can be accommodated for each of the five World Cup matches after taking into account seats lost due to sight-screen additions, huge projections, etc.

Out of these 30,000 tickets, the official ticketing partner sold a maximum of 15,000. The Indian Cricket Council (ICC), sponsors of the BCCI, MCA-affiliated clubs, former Mumbai international cricket players, several state and federal agencies connected to the MCA, and state and federal agencies that assist with the smooth operation of the matches are among the parties receiving complimentary passes for the remaining tickets.

IND vs NZ Pitch Report

There are thirteen fields on the main square of the Wankhede, four of which are set up for each of the five games, including the semifinal. Most clubs and players are happy with how the red-soil surfaces have performed. Veteran MCA curator Ramesh Mhamunkar is optimistic about providing “sporting pitches” for the occasion.

Without getting into specifics, Mhamunkar says, “Let me assure you that all the players and spectators will thoroughly enjoy playing on these pitches, as they always do,” citing a BCCI instruction that curators not discuss the pitches with the public. Mhamunkar was more concerned in the outfield’s relaying than the pitches themselves.
