Jasprit Bumrah discusses the World Cup 2023 match between Pakistan and India. When Pakistan and India play one other in Ahmedabad’s Narendra Modi Stadium on Saturday, their cricket rivalry will be reignited. In the history of the competition, this will be the ninth encounter between the two teams.

The previous seven games have all been won by the hosts. In contrast, Pakistan has a commanding overall lead since their 1978 first-ever one-day international match.

In an interview with an Indian sports channel, Jasprit Bumrah, who guides India’s pace attack alongside Mohammed Shami and Mohammed Siraj, talked about how excited he was to play his maiden one-day international at the 132,000-seat stadium. The pacer said that it will be amazing to play the match in front of a large audience.

He responded, “Yes, obviously playing at home. Although I have played a Test match there, I have not played a One-Day International there.” Thus, the atmosphere promises to be thrilling. It will be a sight to behold since I have no doubt that a large number of people will attend the match. So, yes, I’m hoping for the best there too. The pacer promised to bowl in accordance with pitch requirements and preparation.

“I simply follow my preparation and the procedure that seems appropriate to read the wickets and attempt to identify the best solutions that work for those wickets. For that reason alone, I’m not considering the outcome. Thus, I like the tasks I have to complete that day, I consider my preparations, and I act a little coldly,” he remarked.

“I don’t know what’s going around in the world, so I just looked at what I have to do at that particular day,” Jasprit Bumrah continued. Naturally, analyzing the game and playing to my strengths is what has helped me in the past, so I’ll continue to keep all of those things in mind moving ahead.
