Museveni will present the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023 trophy while it is on tour.The ICC Men’s World Cup Trophy will arrive in Uganda on August 26, according to the Uganda Cricket Association (UCA), and President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni and his wife Janet Kataaka Museveni will unveil it on August 27.

The trophy will be formally unveiled at the State House in Entebbe by the President and the first lady, according to Dennis Musali, the Association’s communication manager. We are overjoyed that Uganda will have the chance to host the Trophy, he declared.

Musali continued, “This historic journey reflects Uganda’s incredible development in cricket, with significant repercussions reverberating across cultural and geographic divides.

Even though Musali acknowledged that Uganda might not be a contender in the upcoming cricket World Cup, he emphasized the nation’s obvious love for the game. Before travelling to Nigeria and South Africa, the Trophy will stay in Uganda for four days.
